Where to Play and Practice

Whether you are a beginner or a developing player, you need a place to play and practice what you have learned. Below is information on

Duplicate Bridge

Duplicate bridge is the term applied to the playing of the same deal of cards by more than one table of players. There are several games in Greensboro where novice players play against each other. This is a great way to meet new friends while you are improving your game.

Reservations are not required. Bring your partner or let the director know you plan to come but need a partner. Please arrive about 15 minutes before game time. Most games last around three and a half hours.

Supervised Play

Come to a Supervised Play session to practice, learn and meet other bridge players. You play a set of prepared hands designed for developing players. One or more experienced players are available to answer your questions and give advice. Each hand is discussed after it has been played.

The schedule for Supervised Play varies.  The most common time is Friday, 9:45am to noon, at Fellowship Presbyterian Church, 1205 New Garden Road. Please visit CCBAUnit169.org website for the latest schedule.

Online Practice and Play

You can practice by yourself or with a partner at many sites on the internet. Here are a few suggested by ACBL that do not require a partner.

Just Play Bridge on BridgeBase.com
